Why Micro‑Needling Works
As the skin responds to the micro‑channels, it increases production of collagen and elastin — the proteins responsible for firmness, elasticity, and overall skin quality. This process, known as collagen induction therapy, continues to improve the skin for several weeks after treatment.
Enhanced Results With Targeted Serums
Micro‑needling is further enhanced by applying high‑quality, active serums during treatment. The micro‑channels allow these ingredients to penetrate more deeply and effectively, supporting hydration, brightening, and overall skin health. This combination maximises results and provides a more comprehensive rejuvenation.
Key Benefits
Improves skin texture by softening fine lines, enlarged pores, and uneven tone
Reduces the appearance of acne scarring and other textural concerns
Boosts collagen and elastin for firmer, more resilient skin
Enhances absorption of active skincare ingredients and targeted serums
Brightens dull or tired skin for a healthier, more radiant glow
Suitable for most skin types with minimal downtime and natural‑looking results
Best Performed as a Course
While a single session can refresh the skin, micro‑needling delivers its most transformative results when performed as a course of 3 or ideally 5 treatments, spaced appropriately(2 to 4 weeks apart). This allows collagen production to build progressively, giving smoother, firmer, and more refined skin over time.
What Micro‑Needling Feels Like
Micro‑needling typically feels like a light scratching or prickling sensation across the skin. Because the needles are extremely fine and the device moves quickly, the feeling is more of a vibration than a “needle” sensation.
How Skin Feels Afterwards
Skin may feel warm with mild stinging or tight for a few hours, similar to a light sun exposure.
Mild redness is normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours.
Most people return to normal activities the same day or the next.
Post‑Treatment Aftercare
Keep the skin clean and avoid touching the area unnecessarily
Use only gentle, hydrating products for the first few days
Avoid active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and vitamin C until the skin has settled
Apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure
Avoid heat, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 24–48 hours
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
Use a fresh pillowcase the night of your treatment
Avoid makeup for 24 hours; mineral makeup is preferred when you resume
